Hey, Barking Hound Village people – just a quick note to bring everyone up to speed on where our locations are regarding the coronavirus/reopening/“new normal.”

Obviously, the past few months have been unprecedented. Everyone has been affected in some way, and if you’ve been hit by the virus during the COVID-19 pandemic, our thoughts are with you.

Barking Hound VillageLikewise, if you’re a first responder or you’ve been an essential worker, you have our utmost respect for doing a phenomenal job keeping us safe!

As Georgia begins its phased reopening of the economy, Barking Hound Village will continue to adhere to best practices throughout our locations. After all, the heart of our villages are people – our team members and you, our friends and neighbors.

To that end, we are extending lobby hours and resuming all services – daycare, boarding, and grooming, seven days a week.

We are excited to get back to a sense of normal for our furry and human customers, as well as our team. As we resume normal operations, the Village family will be following CDC guidelines in preparation for reopening. The team will continue its safety-first approach – not only for themselves but to help ensure a safe environment for the dogs and owners.

Curbside valet is being offered for those choosing to do so, and we’ve also ordered custom re-usable masks for all team members to use (of course, with dog prints on them).

Regardless of where you are in Atlanta, a Village is conveniently located near you. We’re grateful for everyone who has trusted our professional staff with the care of your furry family member.

Barking Hound Village is proud to be a good neighbor. With the upcoming Memorial Day weekend, if you’re looking to get out of town for a breather, know that your dog is in good hands in our Village.

Now, it’s time to get back to doing what we love – caring for your dog. We look forward to seeing you soon!
